Genki Rising is a Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started by Sachiko Reed who is a proud mother, daughter, sister, friend and survivor. She has extensive experience dealing with high conflict divorce , custody matters, emotional coercion, and narcissistic behaviors .

Members of our board are composed of committed professional counselors, teachers, legal advocates, spiritual leaders, other survivors and various walks life who are all committed to building healthier lives for ourselves, our children and larger community.

Sachiko was born and raised in San Francisco and obtained her Masters Degree in Ethnic Studies (SFSU) and her Masters Degree in Sociology (UCSC) focusing on social justice matters. Sachiko has been working in the field of community outreach since 1998 and passionate about building stronger communities for positive change.
